Sold licenses: background and purpose
Most licenses used the standard (default) pricing calculator (in U.S. dollars), though some base prices may be been adjusted by the publishers. There are also several examples of custom licenses which were negotiated between the publishers and their licensing clients. This sampling primarily includes transactions completed and/or paid On-line using PayPal and credit card collection methods, though some transactions may have been collected via other methods such as check, wire or money order.
Disclaimers: Other licenses negotiated and/or completed Off-line are tracked differently and not included in this sampling. Sample data is not more than 12 months old and represents only typical terms and pricing of many common, similar types of single-license pricing deals. Therefore, this sampling does NOT include blanket or other volume licensing terms which may have been negotiated or approved on a separate, customized basis.
